An 84-year-old man critically injured in a two-vehicle crash in Middlesex County on Thursday died at an area hospital days later.
The man was parked on the shoulder of Union Valley Road in Monroe shortly before 6:45 p.m. Thursday when he pulled onto the road and collided with a pickup, township police said.
He was flown to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick where he died of his injuries on Sunday. Police have yet to identify him.
The 32-year-old driver of the pickup suffered minor injuries in the crash, which took place near Angelo Court.
